Open Footwear

We launched Open Footwear as an independent research project because we refuse to accept the old fashion-footwear model.
Digital tools and manufacturing finally give us the freedom to rethink everything: open-source creativity, local production using nearby resources, designs that adapt to real people — all economically realistic. When production stays close to consumption, repair becomes obvious and products last longer. Local isn’t just better. It’s the sustainable path forward.
